Since moving out to the East Coast, I have been captivated by the distinct seasons and the changing colors that come along with them. Growing in Southern California meant that it was basically either spring or summer all year round. Don't get me wrong—I LOVED it. Sunshine and blue skies definitely had me jumping into my car headed to a Santa Monica or a Malibu beach on a pretty regular basis.

But Pennsylvania's falls are to die for, and this family's session brings on all the fall-ey feels. Though we took on Gifford Pinchot State Park past the peak of fall, the warm sunset and the remnant of fall leaves reflecting on the lake's surface made for the perfect uniquely fall backdrop.
